Peter
Smith presents “Structures”, his second solo album,
featuring music composed entirely with percussive instruments (mallets,
vibes, xylophones, etc…). “Structures” exposes
a different perspective on the musical world of Peter Smith, following
his first album, “Galaxy of the Mind”.
These
musical ’structures’ were inspired by observing and
appreciating the beauty of the natural organic world, with its evolution,
growth and harmony happening all around us. From the swaying movement
of a leaf in the wind, as if it was trying to give some kind of
signal, to a pair of beautiful pelicans standing with their feet
in a pond, watching the sunrise together, Peter Smith quickly found
his ideas and inspirations for this beautiful and enchanting musical
journey.
